Not Long Now...

Today I booked the venue  in Broadcasting House for my March leaving do.  Fittingly, it's a large space on the 5th floor of New BH which is only a matter of feet away from where the very first Studio Managers' common room used to be situated thirty years ago when I first entered it as a tremulous young trainee.  I've chosen the Friday before my actual leaving day, as I didn't think there would be much enthusiasm for a party on a Monday at the start of the working week.

Now that I have a date for the do - Friday 27th March - it suddenly all seems very imminent <gulp>
