Love Spreads

Today me and Stucks went to Lichfield, it is a really nice little town and after a wander around and cream tea we ventured into the Cathedral.

After joking how we would probably start to smoke and melt within the Holy walls...we both retreated to our Catholic upbringing and as well as taking our breath away with it's architectural beauty...we happened to nip in at 3pm and in time for prayers.

So we sat a while, said a couple of prayers and lit some candles.

I'm not a believer but it was a tranquil, touching and lovely moment.

Of course we discussed the various parts of the cathedral as wedding venues and hummed the wedding march as we walked down the aisle. God wouldn't have minded.

Last stop was the magnificent font - we dipped and crossed with the Holy Water.

Wonderful sculptures surrounded the church - this one reminded me of the Stone Roses
