A timeless view

I have an 18th century print somewhere of this view which I must dig out.  Hardly anything has changed in the intervening years.  Much had changed at the cinema, however, when I went to see 'The Theory of Everything' - a new coffee shop and three grades of seating.  I really enjoyed the film though there were parts that were not an easy watch.  It hit just the right tone, being neither mawkishly sentimental nor overly dramatic.
