The Pierhead Building, Cardiff Bay.

This magnificent grade I listed building was constructed in1897 and was the headquarters of the Bute Dock Company. The exterior of the building is made from glazed terracotta and the standard of finish on the interior shows that expense was no problem when it came to this showpiece building. It is now a Welsh history museum and exhibition centre and is certainly worth going to see if you are anywhere near this area in South Wales.
