A very public tache contest

I went out for breakfast this morning & treated myself to Eggs Benedict - something that perhaps for the last 10 years has been one of my favourite "luxury" breakfasts....not anymore.
I'm not saying it wasn't delicious in itself, because it was, I just felt as queasy as f*ck afterwards, due to it's incredible richness of flavour.
Much like Fois Gras , I will no doubt politely pass, if the offer comes to me in the future.
Anyway...!!
Marley, Evie & Gracie came to visit today. An early collection of Ferguson (following mine & Ian's new arrangements - I know!!), allowed a leisurely bit of time before setting out to collect them.
Sinead was incredibly gracious re-arranging her plans to accommodate the visit & following a snow diversion, we had a nice little chat before she & Grav headed off.
I didn't think I'd ever find myself in that position - but am very grateful & lucky that I have.
From our list of activities & slightly delayed start, the foursome decided on pottery painting - a place to seem to visit so frequently lately!
Whilst in the car there, we each donned a joke moustache and commenced the "whoever can keep theirs on for the longest will win" contest!
Gracie was the first to fail but Marley won absolutely hands down.
Snow began to fall early evening so a snowman build eagerly commenced- with an abundance of help from friends.
Sausage sandwiches & hot chocolate paved the way for a warm finish & film night.
It was a really fun day & I think we all went to sleep with the hopeful prospect of more snow come daybreak.
