Newmillerdam
Newmillerdam is a village and suburb of Wakefield in West Yorkshire; the name also refers to the lake and nature reserve adjacent to the village.
The building in my blip is the boathouse, and as far as I know is still in use, but there were no boaters on the water today. I did however see lots of wild fowl - swans, geese, moorhen, and coots. There were also different breeds of ducks and the remarkable thing was everything was very tame.
I walked all the way round the lake but it was really too cold to wait about so once I'd taken a few pics I headed back to the car and drove straight home.
