A day of two halves

The sun came out in the second part of the day, when it was also trying to snow in places. Work preparation took over the morning, so in the afternoon it was time to get the cross-country skis back on and explore a little further along the valley. This shot was taken just before heading home: the contrasts in the cloud formations on the different sides of the valley were particularly striking.
The evening was spent with our new neighbours - a spontaneous invite in the morning and a fabulous house-warming at theirs in the evening.
