Winter day in the engadin

The skies cleared and the sun shone, but the temperatures didn't rise above zero. My extremities were tingling from the cold as I walked into work and there had been a thick frost/ice covering on the trees by the river bed. The mountains looked spectacular in their white coats against the deep blue sky.
