The final plate from this lovely book.

A lie in this morning, and a bit of a slow day. It's been windy with squally showers. The showers lasted longer than the gaps between them.

Did the chores this morning, and threw one of Tanni's toys for her to fetch, and she stood on something and cried out. A little bit of blood, and she's been limping a bit, and licking it all day. One of her claws has a small patch of red where it's been bleeding. We'll see how it is tomorrow and decide whether it's a trip to the vets. A day of cuddles and strokes.

I've seen long range forecasts predicting heavy knee deep snow, and freezing temperatures from midweek and into February.. Can't stop it coming..
