Blue Lake Multisport

A friend was competing in the 5km walk this morning, as part of the multisport event at the Blue Lake.

Missed seeing her finish, but spent a nice hour out their watching others coming in and then going down to the lake for a swim.

Soooooooooo hot first thing this morning and was nice to watch people swimming. The heat doesn't seem to be going away in a hurry.

The lake has always had a jumping platform and when we were growing up, there was also a slide not far from the platform. I see this has now been removed.

The fun police must have thought it was time for it too go. Jumping off a wooden platform is ok, but not a wooden slide.

Enjoying the Sunday of our long weekend and not having to rush too much.
