Hot Air Balloons

My camera club buddy and I made a trip to the River Lodge at Reporoa last night, in search of hot air balloons.

They were supposed to have a night glow, but the wind was too strong to get the tops of the balloons on, up and glowing.

Was way cool to get that close to them and talk to the operators.

I never imagined that the baskets were that small.

A couple of great images. Loved being able to walk inside an inflated balloon. That was nearly my blip, but wanted it to be one with fire, as that is way we made the effort to go out.

Russell and I had a blast (excuse the pune) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Roll on 2016, to see if we can get glow images.
