Baby It's Cold Outside

Nothing quite like a fire burning when it's cold and frosty outside.

I woke aching in places I didn't think I could. It must have been due to the Nordic walking yesterday. I was very good and still went off to parkrun.

It was a bit slippy under foot but I got around without actually falling over. Fourth in my age group...the very olds. 444 people took part today. It's getting very popular.

Back home for a tidy up as we had my older brother over for dinner this evening.

A quick trip into town to get last minute holiday bits....even though I have until Thursday to get last minute holiday bits. A Tesco shop and home.

Had a lovely dinner.....then we all cosied up in front of the log burner.

Had a nice long chat on the phone to my sister in law in Oz who is poorly. Unfortunately she has not been accepted to trial the cancer drug. She's a bit fed up about that to say the least.
