Green oasis

Having had such an exciting day yesterday, I decided to take it easier today, but couldn't stay put for long. A few minutes walk away from where I live exists this pocket park, and it was high time I paid another visit. On entry to the park, I was struck by the smell of wild garlic, and there was evidence that some had been gathered. What you see here is more or less the full width of the park (a strip of land) that extends for quite a distance. The pond that was recently created (I have yet to find out who did it) is now looking much more established.
