Deansgate City Games track; Manchester

Today saw a quick trip into Manchester - my first ever. I attended a workshop with SCBWI - the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, where we were treated to a talk by Philippa Donovan from Egmont Books. With thanks to a part-Mancunian friend (he lives locally) I managed to get there. I really should explore this part of the UK more - it is, after all, where my Dad's side of the family are from.
