Alzheimer Scotland: Action on Dementia

Here is my T-shirt for a session at Argos this afternoon, collecting for my favourite charity, Alzheimer Scotland: Action on Dementia.  Because I spend my life between two addresses, I find it difficult to give my time on a regular weekly or monthly basis, year round.  I love getting the opportunity to do one-off things, so I was really pleased to have this chance to work for my favourite of all charities.

I've had a link with Alzheimer Scotland since my tearful phone call to a patient, supportive helpline volunteer nearly twenty years ago, when the charity was comparatively young.  Since then it has grown and developed and gained real influence over the growth of national services for families living with this cruel disease and of support for the range of crucial research that may make Alzheimers a thing of the past one day.
