Flatmates reunion

My uni flat mates from 43 years ago have an annual reunion (plus our wives of course who were our girlfriends way back then).

This year the get together is at our bach in Hanmer Springs.

N and I had a pétanque challenge.

He already had one shot on this "end" and was using my jandals as a measure to prove that he had one more.

For the record he won the match with his very last boule after we were 6 all in the third set! So I got to pour the drinks!

Meanwhile R saw a wasp carrying this huge spider across the deck.
He bravely fought the wasp off to win the spider ..... and to taunt the girls with it! Big kid!
