Even the cake was in tiers

The closer you are to people getting married, the better the wedding is.

This was definitely one of the best weddings I have been to. One of those occasions where everything you see and hear, especially during the speeches, tells you that the couple is completely devoted to each other. It was quite emotional, especially when the bride's dad was talking about how proud he is of everything she has done, everything she is and everything she will be, and when the groom was echoing these thoughts about his new wife (because everything nice that was said about her is absolutely true).

Comedy Catholic priest, radiant happy couple, chic bridesmaids, over-the-top dancing, copious buffet food, Grease megamix, amazing friends, late night chilling out. Fantastic.

We can even overlook the clerical error made by the hotel in that me and my friend Tim had to share a double bed after being booked in as Mr and Mrs Coburn. Quite funny actually.
