Pot Roast Supper

It's 8.30pm, and I've had a lovely day.  A wee long lie, brief dog walk, then a quick burst of housework before I prepared a nice pot-roast and put it in the oven on a really low heat at 12 noon. 

Headed into town to meet Yasmin for lunch in the Bothy.  We haven't met up for a ridiculously long time, and I really enjoyed our blethers and seeing the beautiful wedding pictures she took when her son got married recently. 

Got my hair trimmed after that, and then dropped in on Mum with the Put-u-Up, as she has the Burntisland Three (Abi and the kids) staying over tonight. 

By the time I got home the brisket was just perfect, and we had it with cabbage and mash before I went to Tesco for some essential kid food for the kids coming here tomorrow. 

Now G is away out, and Rocky and I have put away the shopping and are just about to have a last walk before we settle down in front of the telly with a bone and a beer.
