River Severn

Despite a great deal of rain, I thoroughly enjoyed a fine walk around Shrewsbury, led by Eptas and also accompanied by Andy, Bruce and Martin. 

We saw some of the Town's most prominent citizens, such as Charles Darwin and Percy Thrower. The route took us to locations used in the 1980s film version of A Christmas Carol, including Scrooge's House and, spookily, his grave.  We enjoyed lunch as well as the innovative use of a hyphen.
