One that lived to tell the tale

No apologies for continuing along the larophilic (look it up!) route. Down at Baleshare this beast of a Glaucous Gull was patrolling the shore giving me a baleful stare and certainly wasn't too keen on my disturbing him off his (or her but it looks more like a him than a her to me) not-very-fresh seal carcase.
Good to see that not all Glaucous Gulls fall foul of man.
With a probable hybrid  American Wigeon x European Wigeon there too, it was a good day ornithologically.
