In Grodno
Another busy day. We visited a baptist church in Grodno and were able to share a little of what we have been doing (through an interpreter!). Then off to a rehab centre where I met this little boy, Maxim. He was so thrilled that in his box there was a football (deflated!), a pump, shin pads and goal markers. The rest of his box paled into insignificance! He is in the photo with the green top, clutching his rucksack full of footy things.
We then went to a children's hospital in Schuchin which was a hard visit. The place is overcrowded so some children had to share beds, and the cots were so old they were literally held together with string. But at least the toys brightened their day a little!.
Then the long drive -about 320kms-back into Minsk.
