Happy happy happy

Another amazing day. We travelled about 40kms to Loyki to another Social Centre - or childrens home. Some incredibly sad stories about the children but total joy as they opened their gifts. To see this happiness is worth every ounce of energy we put into the campaign. We next visited a school for blind children - a sad looking building with more sad stories but again joy with the boxes and with a little show.
After lunch in Grodno we had a short amount of free time for a walk around the town and the chance to buy some souvenirs and we also looked around a Jewish synagugue which was beautiful. Our last distribution today was in a penticostal church - a lovely little show - all in Belarussian then giving out of more boxes. We then shared a wonderful meal with all of the Operation Christmas Child volunteers in Grodno - a time of real blessing and joy. A truly beautiful day .
