Cosmos

I got this one nice and early and just as well as the mid-day special came roaring through. Rain so loud it was deafening, pelting down diagonal and straight, thunder shaking the house and lightning streaking through the sky - it was all go.  All settled for an hour and then it all happened again - what a day!

Still it was lovely to have rain today and through the night seeping into the ground, refreshing the garden and hopefully a retrieve for the farmers, although it probably won't be enough.

My birthday today, lovely to have mum call round and have a cuppa, spoilt with text messages, phone calls and facebook messages, lovely to be remembered :)
