Summer Bales

The landscape is brown with tinges of blonde, hay bales are a common sight at present. Not a day goes by without the fire siren going off, fire engines and fire tanks rushing out to rural areas, all is on full alert as the landscape is now very high or extreme.

Hubby and I enjoyed a drive inland for a few hours today. The clouds became heavy and full of promise but only a few big drops have fallen, rain is badly needed.
