Bits and pieces...

Another clear,cold start. Lorry arrived in with 8 tons of protein blend,then brought the spring calving cows in to dose for fluke and give them their annual BVD vaccine.
Nipped off to the soup lunch at the village hall,then decided to strip down the water pump that went bang yesterday. As suspected the blades on the impeller had shattered (that's the pile of bits in the bottom of the picture. )
Phoned the pump repair man,but he is away to the LAMMA show in Lincoln this week.If I could get the part number he could order the spares. However the part number was on the bit that disintegrated !
At a SAC college meeting about the CAP reform tonight. Left feeling even more confused about all the European rules and hoops we now need to jump through!
