Cold,frosty ,sunny and dry.Proper winters day. Stuart here with his digger fixing a drain,but something had washed futrther down the pipe and choked it. The hole full to the brim with water,so got the water pump going. Only it didn't . Or it did go bang. Presume the impeller blades are no more,so another thing in need of repair.
Jagging some of the cows against liver fluke. The flukecide is a nice yellow/orange colour which as I found out doesn't wash off. My fingers now look like I'm a 60 a day smoker !
Had to go and fix 2 new fence panels in the house we are selling. They blew down the same day the first lot of viewers were coming.Just shows you the mark up.Phoning round different places the prices ranged from £28.40, £21.50, to £16.50 for the same panels ! Passed these piles of logs waiting for collection where a wood had been felled.They are about 35 years old going by the rings .
