Frozen!

I spent some quality time with my sis today, something we don't get chance to do that often......it did involve more curtain shopping though ;-) we had a nice lunch, mooched but neither of us spent much at all, I think the most expensive item bought was a fresh chicken!

On my way home, I planned to stop off "somewhere" for today's blip. As I was driving west, I could see the blue sky butting up to a big bank of cloud coming from the west, so made a quick decision to stop sooner rather than later, otherwise I was going to lose the light!

I remembered this little bridge over the canal from a trip to the disused colliery that I blipped earlier last year, I thought I might get a decent shot from it. When I walked up onto the bridge I was so surprised to find the whole canal completely frozen over! I hoped that the image conveyed this, but I'm not convinced :-/
