After the sad news at the weekend that the male peregrine was found dead I was delighted to see the lonely female around this morning. Hopefully she will find a mate before spring and continue to keep the old Mill as home. We will watch with interest.

The friend that found the unmarked and otherwise healthy looking male is trying to get him examined to hopefully rule out foul play.
