Reds and Whites
Volunteering in the library this morning, then, after lunch, a cycle along to Scapa pier. It was low tide and a nice group of about sixteen bar-tailed godwits were feeding at the water's edge along with redshanks and oystercatchers. On the sea were long-tailed ducks, black guillemots, two Slavonian grebe, and a single drake red-breasted merganser.
