When The Going Gets Tough....

Today's U14's match had a special resonance, in the corresponding away match one of the Falmouth lads broke his leg. So we waited for the visiting coach to ask after him, not a bit of it.
I sat in the conservatory area with my coffee listening to visiting parents and the 'travelling but not playing' young lads about how they would be at least 50-0 up by half time. Aside from why you would want to be part of a team/squad where there are so many of you that you don't even get a game it's the fact that they have brought in the best youngsters from other clubs.
Anyway they won but they knew they had been in a match, Falmouth never gave up and for a good portion of the match they out muscled them.

And the final score 5-36, they never made 50
