Another raw cold day, a flurry or two of snow not lying, whereas a few miles away it is white.

Mr C is getting on with refurbishing the dolls' house he made for our eldest daughter 40 years ago. As Ella will be (barring accidents of course) our only granddaughter, we are sure Victoria would have approved that she is to have it for her 3rd birthday. As it has travelled from our village here with us to Suffolk 30 years ago, and back 10 years ago, and been in the garage a long time, it has been repainted both inside and out.

(Re the storm yesterday - all sweetness and light today apparently. Hope that continues into tomorrow as I'll be taking her with me on her first political outing - delivering leaflets in Gosforth)
