Calm before the storm

The calm - We had an early start for Whitley Bay. We played here on the beach in the morning with Thomas though the wind was biting, and in the afternoon went to the Stephenson Railway museum, but it was closed so he collected stones and made a path. Baby James just smiled and laughed.

The Storm - Then we came over to Gosforth to babysit while #3 daughter and husband go to his sister's birthday party. Ella had got over-tired after a morning at Beamish museum followed by a birthday party, so has been having a melt-down for the last 30 minutes or more. Thankfully this is all going on upstairs with the parents and I'm trying to keep out of the way. I hope they feel like the party now.
