Buddhist cremation

As I was traveling in the northeast of Thailand with my friend, one night he received a phone call telling that his cousin had accidentally passed away. This had happened in Bangkok. We drove back to his village in the morning some 400km east.
The funeral was held at the parents' house in a small village in Sakon Nakhon province. This young man was only 23 years old.
I attended the whole ceremony for a few days until the cremation. This is where the body was cremated. I only took this picture because I saw that other people were also taking pictures of this very sad moment.
I shared the pain with my friend's family and other villagers, who attended the ceremony. All in all, they were probably close to a hundred people.
