The Last Hurrah in Blue

LM decided that before we dismantle the tree, we must have another slumber party, drink hot chocolate, and watch The Christmas Story to properly finish our Christmas season. So we brought our mattresses into the living room, made hot chocolate, and  giggled when Ralphie's daddy spewed profanities while fixing the furnace in the basement.

Afterwards, I sat on the floor between my guys, HD snoring slightly, and LM sleeping peacefully, both lit by the bluish lights. I read "Wnuczka do  Orzechow", the latest installment of my favorite young-adult series which I have been reading since 1970s. I was filled with happiness, joy, and peace.
