A taste of normality
Saturday morning and I'm in Sam's with a drink and the papers waiting for a friend to come and chat for a while whilst our kids are off at prancing class.
Earlier we awoke to the sound of the boy downstairs playing the piano. Like we do most Saturday mornings.
After a while they both piled into our room and informed us they thought it was probably time we thought about getting up. As they usually do.
There is so much to be said for normality.
On the progress front he remains largely symptom free at rest with the only thing he can't do being concentrating too hard and reading. He walked an extra 20metres from yesterday. And one of his best school friends visited for a little over an hour whixh gave him the biggest grin I have seen all week. His parents hung out with us a bit too which apart from being generally lovely apparently solved our car dilemma.

EDIT: for the record...couldn't read more than 2 pages of Wimpy Kid book, couldn't concentrate to throw a dart. Did chuck balls at the hoop in the garden for 5mins with no symptoms. Facetimed with friend successfully. Couldn't look at messages on the iPhone.
