Secret beach #5

Today Catriona, Diane, Michelle and I took a trip to Wattle Bay on the Awhitu Peninsula. About a 1hour 40 minute drive from Auckland, we arrived just as it started to rain so a picnic in the car it was!

After a quick stroll to the waters edge once the rain had stopped and exploring the next beach along, Orua Bay, we headed back to Auckland stopping at Waiuku for coffee and cake before heading to Catriona and Diane's for Indian dinner followed by a close call game of Articulate - Catriona and Michelle won by just a few points!

A fantastic start to the weekend, despite all that rain!
