Jim Yarldley of the Bully Wee Band

The annual cycle of music concerns starts again with the Bully Wee Band at the Brook Theatre, Chatham. The Bully Wee Band reformed in 2004 after a popular stint in 1970s and 1980s and now tour once a year The band consists of Irishman Fergus Feely, Englishmen Ian Cutler and Colin Reece and Scotsman, Jim Yardley. And it's not tea in the cup beside him either. One guess allowed.

Jim now lives in Norway and plays in a group called the Cornerboys amongst other things, coming over to the UK for this annual tour. All 4 are very talented musicians, performing a mixture of covers and original songs from a range of musical styles. Ian Cutler appeared in the blip from the Bully Wee Band this time last year and is a fiddler of great virtuosity. Jim plays the mandolin (?) as well as the whistle and guitar.
