Mary had a little lamb

Well maybe it should be 'Helen held a little lamb'!
We went to a Country Fayre (I do hate that spelling of the word Fair) today. Good job it was only £1 entry because if it had been any more I would have demanded a refund under the Trades Description Act! Anyway we managed to have a laugh, buy some cheese and some dwarf iris reticulata (lovely blue ones).
The cuckoo has been around for the last 2 days - not close, but around. Hopefully he'll come closer soon.
Our one little sparrow fledging made its maiden flight successfully today.
