More house martins are arriving daily and, unlike the pair in residence above the patio door, are now busy nest-building. Having got off to a late start I now think we are going to have a bumper year for these beautiful birds. Ditto for swallows.
It is glorious to stand in the garden with them all wheeling around us.
Helen is on the way home now and I am expecting Simon and Louise tomorrow. Hope the weather holds.
Oh - some of you have been asking about the car. Diagnostics indicate a non-return valve on some system to do with the petrol tank. Part not expensive, due Tuesday, can drive in meantime. :))
