We had wintry showers today and the wind is just blasting angrily in the garden as if it wants to clear away everything in its path. Everything has a pinched and strained look. This little sedum on a low wall has the right idea. It's turned this beautiful red colour and is lying low and hugging the contours of the stone. It will survive.
