Thuja plicata 'Whipcord'

A new addition. This plant is said to be a sport of the American red cedar. The label promises fireworks but it looks like a bad hair day on a stick. I am, however, hoping for great things in the fullness of time.
It was so windy this afternoon that it blew the washing off the line. I took refuge in the greenhouse and sorted out the rest of my seeds, gave the inmates some water and cleared some space on the work bench. Temperature was freezing.
