John Chilembwe........

Today is a national holiday to celebrate John Chilembwe!  John Chilembwe was a church minister and he was one of the first people in Malawi to stand up against colonialism.  He used to be on all the Malawi banknotes but a few years ago new notes were produced and now he is only on the 500 Kwacha note.

No electricity or water all day again.  And my solar lamp also ran out because we haven't had any sun to recharge it!!  Joy!!!
