Beauty everywhere

What an awesome day from start to finish.

This morning I went with the boys and my mama in law to a cafe in town where they also have a herbal dispensary/ health food shop.

The boys had a fluffy and a choc brownie though it had apricot sauce in it the mar didn't like.

Grandma to mar 'don't you like apricot mar, it's yummy'

Mar to his grandma 'I will never ever eat an africot' ( he struggles to say apricot)

Grandma laughs

Mar says in an upset tone ' it's not funny! !!'

Followed by 'don't ask me any more questions'

My mama in law and i both had this amazing Indian lentil patty with raita and side salad.
I also had a raw vegan mini carrot cake with whipped coconut cream- delicious!

After brunch we went across the road where there's a few things in a space where a building used to be.
There was a giraffe that we hadn't got yet, there's a book fridge which is a really old fridge that is filled with books and you can take one if you put one in. There's benches to sit on to read as well

There was also this piano. The boys loved banging the keys and making lots of noise!

The weather has been beautiful all day and even tonight before dinner i let the boys play with the hose outside to cool down( there's something so pure about watching my babe's play with water- the happiness they show makes my heart swell) though it backfired when I took a walk to get dinner, andre called and said that when he nipped to the loo harper brought the hose inside and I came home to wet carpet!! luckily being so warm it dried quickly once i toweled it a bit.

Not long after kids were in bed the rain suddenly poured, once it stopped the sky turned orange, 2 rainbows appeared and the sky looked like a piece of art work. It was stunning, the sunset was breathtaking.

Beautiful way to end the day.
