The view from Sheeps Tor

After walking in Bordeaux and Paris during last week it was good to be back on the moor. Walking in the city has been relatively flat so I decided to walk to the top of Sheeps Tor. The overnight winds have been exceptionally strong. It was still very windy up there this morning and difficult to hold the camera still. I was lucky because there were heavy showers around although I only saw a few drops. There are a few more on flickr.

I was slightly disappointed to have missed the snow on Dartmoor yesterday but RockArea has captured it perfectly here.
