Rodent on a Ladder

Here it is 11:15 at night, and it's the first time I've been on the computer all day. Only 45 minutes left, and it'll be a back blip. Must hurry. If only I could type!

At 7:30 this morning, it was -13F. Frigid. But, by 9:15, it was up to 6F, and it eventually got up to about 20F. Cold, but manageable.

I still don't like to take my camera out when it's this cold, so this was shot out of our back bedroom.

A squirrel on my ladder...
you think he could look any fatter?
I shot from the rafters...
as my feed he was after.

(From this angle) I wish I could figure out...
whether it's a him or a her.
Perhaps something as easy...
as the color of their fur?
