The power zoom
For the past few weeks I have been using my new canon Sx60 hs. One of it's biggest features is the powerful zoom 65x. Today I wanted to show some examples of how the zoom works so all four images have been taken from the same spot.
The top left image was taken with no zoom , now the tower is on the other side of the tree line on the other side of the lake. This tower is over a kilomtere away.
The second image top right gets a good view of the tower this is 65x and top end of the optical power
The bottom left is now zoomed to 130x which is now partly a digital zoom.
The bottom right is zoomed to the full zoom 260x which has a much larger digital zoom and tends to pixilate more. This image is the top of the tops antena.
