Winter berries

Today was another day off work and some time to try and relax a bit before going back to work tomorrow. January thaw continued for one more day it felt like spring the sun was out the winds light and it was 5c.

By the lake today the ice was finally melting off the path and made it easier to walk the ducks and the geese came back as there is now a small water hole in the ice. I fed the chickadees and squirrels today too.

This shot was taken in the reeds and the red berries are free of the ice once again and ready for the birds to eat.
