.... Effect of her poorly weekend, I think. She came out of school in a niggly, out of sorts frame of mind. She ate everything I could give her before swimming, and asked (and got of course!) more. She swam, though she looked quite tired. She seemed super tired at the car, though she wanted immediate second rounds of food. The second we got through the door, she ran to the sofa. I went to the kitchen to do the third round and came back to find her under a blanket. I thought she was playing. She was in fact fast asleep. I carried her upstairs and when I came to bed, I found her like this; butt in the air, on her tummy, snoring.

In terms of school, I asked her how her day was. It didn't get a positive answer so I asked our second question "what was good at school?". She said "I did a rainbow house painting. It's not finished. It's going to be a house of rainbow colours with a rainbow in the sky. But there was only pink and purple so I am going to do some more tomorrow. And Primrose's second tooth came out!"
