in quiet solitude...

and was amazed

at the sheer wonder -  of whiteness -  with the sun finally - shining through the clouds - upon the freshly fallen snow -  at the total beauty - plus unnerving quiet - which surrounded me - in the forest -  over the ridge behind - my house -  every now and again - i heard a far off - bird, finally finding freedom - after the storm - being able to fly - in the skies again - oh the majesty - of god's creation - right in front of me -  i felt humbled - giving thanks because i knew it was...
