Today's the day ........................... to dream

We've had lots of weather here again today.

This is the fluffy white edge of a massive front that I watched going across the sky this afternoon.  I have spared you what lies out of shot to the left of the picture - an enormous towering mass of thunderous black clouds that eventually darkened the sky and led to a downpour of hailstones.

The tiny plane that is taking courage in both hands and disappearing into the storm clouds is actually a huge jumbo jet - no doubt on its way to somewhere nice.  It made me think that, this time last year, we too were about to go to somewhere nice.

No such luck this year though, so I'll just have to be content with day-dreaming - and stick it out until spring arrives ..........................
